Fly & Sip trips are intentionally small. This trip is designed for a group of approximately 10 travelers, so we can travel together without feeling like a traditional large group tour.

Yes. Solo travelers will have their own private room. Couples or two people traveling together may choose to share a private room.

No. Flights to and from Belgium are not included. You are responsible for arranging your own airfare and getting to the designated meeting point at the beginning of the trip.

No. Seven group meals plus daily breakfast are included. Some lunches and dinners are intentionally left open so you can choose where you want to eat and have time to explore on your own.

Beer and tastings that are part of scheduled brewery visits or specific included experiences are included. Additional drinks at restaurants, bars, Belgian Beer Weekend, or during your free time are your responsibility unless otherwise specified.

Not at all. You don't need to know anything about Belgian beer before coming. The trip is about discovering Belgium through its beer, food, cities, history and culture. Come curious.

Absolutely. This isn't a trip where every minute of your day is scheduled. There will be experiences we've planned together, but also time to wander, shop, visit a museum, find a café, take a nap, or discover somewhere on your own.

No. You're welcome to skip an activity or leave one of our walking experiences early if you'd rather explore independently. Please note that unused or skipped included activities are not refundable.

Quite a bit. Ghent, Bruges and Brussels are best experienced on foot, and some days include walking tours and time exploring historic city centers. Comfortable walking shoes are highly recommended.

If you cancel more than 90 days before departure, payments are refundable minus any nonrefundable supplier or processing costs already incurred. Between 60 and 90 days, any amounts that have not already been committed to nonrefundable trip expenses may be refunded. Cancellations made fewer than 60 days before departure are nonrefundable. Full cancellation terms are provided in the Traveler Booking Agreement.

If Fly & Sip cancels the trip, you will receive a 100% refund of payments made directly to Fly & Sip. Fly & Sip cannot reimburse independently booked airfare, hotels, transportation, reservations or other outside expenses.

Yes. Travel insurance is required before departure. You will purchase your policy independently, allowing you to choose the coverage that works best for you.

Each traveler is responsible for having the appropriate passport and any required travel documentation for Belgium. Requirements can vary depending on your nationality.

Belgium in September can bring sunshine, cooler evenings, and a little rain — sometimes all in the same day. We recommend packing layers, a light waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, and a small umbrella. Bring a casual-nice outfit for group dinners, but nothing formal is required.

Don’t forget a European plug adapter, reusable water bottle, portable charger, and a little extra room in your suitcase for Belgian beer, chocolate, and anything else you discover along the way.
